And The Rest is History

1. Where did you and your husband meet?

We met in Arizona, we were in the same ward when I was 13 and he was 16.  We never dated or even hung out until Colby started school at BYU- Idaho.

2. First thing you said to eachother...

Well the first thing he said to me was we should hang out sometime and this was over text, then it was something like how have you been?

3. What was your first date?

We went to Quiznos and then wanted to rent a movie but Colby didn't want to get a blockbuster account because he doesn't want anyone to have his credit card number.  Some might say he's paranoid but we like to say he's just smart! So we bought the Bourne Supremacy instead and watched it at my apartment.

4. Long or short courtship/ engagement?

We started dating the beginning of January, got engaged late October, and got married December 27th.

5. Where did you get engaged?

Colby had a very creative scavenger hunt made up and the clues were written in a wheel of fortune board so it looked like the answer to the puzzle was where I needed to go.  The final destination was the Mesa Temple.  Colby was there with two build a bears one was a bride and the other was a groom.  He also had a giant wheel of fortune board that said will you marry me?

6. Where were you married/ reception?

We were married in the Mesa Arizona Temple and had an outdoor reception at Stonebridge Manor.  It was December but for Arizona that means nothing, the weather was great.

7. Where did you honeymoon?

We went on a week cruise to Jamaica and Grand Cayman.  It was a blast.  We rode horses in the ocean in Jamaica and did Snuba in Grand Cayman.  Snuba is half snorkeling and half scuba diving.  We also got to be in Jamaica for new years!
