Better late than never. I just can't seem to find the time to post blogs anymore but here are a few pictures of the kids on Halloween. Archer kept saying "Happy Ween" haha and then at the end of the day after trick or treating he dumped all his candy on the counter and said it was his birthday! Archer loved handing out candy to all the trick or treaters too. Sawyer was a little angel of coarse and just went along with all the craziness. She was a "star" to match Archer's astronaut costume.

Baby In A Pumpkin Round 2
When Archer was just a baby I put him in a pumpkin and thought it was cute so did it again with Sawyer. She did not like it quite as much but she is also 2 months younger than he was at the time. However, she was still as cute as a pumpkin haha.

Sawyer Davis
We had our little girl Sawyer on June 16, 2012. She was 6lbs 8.5ozs and 19.5 in long. She is the cutest little girl ever! We love her so much. Everything went Amazing with the C-Section, and things were perfect. The next morning the nurses came to do routine labs to check on me and the baby. When Sawyer's labs came back her bilirubin level was really high for a baby who was only 24 hours old. The Doctors were really concerned about why it was so high so they ran some more tests on her. It turns out she was Coombs Positive. This is because some time in my third trimester my blood transfered into her . Long story short, my blood was attacking her causing her bilirubin levels to spike and her hematocrit levels to drop. Most babies are born with a hematocrit of 40-45 and she was only a 28. So the doctors took her to the NICU. She was put under the bili lights and given an IVIG (Medicine) haha. They wanted to watch her closely because they thought she would need a blood transfusion. In a nutshell she was in the NICU for a couple days and things were getting better so they sent her home but we have had to go back to get her blood levels and bili levels tested daily. She is doing great now and all her levels look really good! Everything is leveling out. She still may need a blood transfusion if her hematocrit doesn't go up, but as of right now the doctors don't think she will need to do that because her body is rebuilding red blood cells really fast. We just love her to pieces and are so happy to finally have her here! She looks so much like Archer when he was born it is crazy!
